A PARTNERSHIP OF ENHANCED BRILLIANCE: SWAROVSKI
ELEMENTS AND USA DANCE SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS and Swarovski North America are delighted to announce a brand partnership alliance with USA Dance, Inc. Through this sparkling alliance, Swarovski’s renowned premium brand for the finest crystal elements will sponsor an elite group of top ranking DanceSport couples at the USA Dance National DanceSport Championships in April 2011. The new partnership underlines that SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS is the product of choice for a sport that is always associated with glamour and brilliance, just as it has been the designers’ choice since the company was founded in 1895. As part of the agreement, Swarovski will work together with leading costume designers to create costumes and accessories with SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS that will be worn by the elite group at the championship event, a high profile gala that reflects the thriving renaissance in ballroom dancing. The names of the elite dancers and the costume designers who will take part in the program will be announced at a date closer to the event. The brilliant costumes made with SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS will also be stars in their own right and will be photographed and presented online. In keeping with the company’s principle of staying at the cutting edge of design, SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS has created a new element, the enhanced 2058 XILION Flatback No Hotfix. The new element has a unique patented cut proven in light laboratory tests to be even more brilliant than its predecessors in the SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS assortment. It is a perfect element for high profile dance competition and is guaranteed to bring enhanced glamour to the costumes, jewelry and accessories of the elite dancers. Swarovski will debut the 2058 XILION at the USA Dance 2011 Manhattan Amateur Classic held at the Grand Ballroom of the Manhattan Center at 311 West 34th Street New York City on January 14-16. The company will be present at the event to show dancers and designers the brilliance of the 2058 XILION and explain how SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS can contribute a unique and glamorous touch to their costumes. Information about how to purchase the new 2058 XILION cut SWAROVSKI ELEMENT will be available at the show. The Manhattan Amateur Classic will be the mere forerunner of the main event at which the new collaboration between SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS and USA Dance will be showcased – the USA Dance National Dance Sport Championships held April 8-10 2011 at the Renaissance Harborplace Hotel in Baltimore, MD. Those attending will not only be able to experience the USA’s most exciting dance talent but also a new dimension in costume design brilliance with SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS. The elite group of dancers involved in the partnership will compete in custom designed costumes and accessories adorned with sparkling SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS and will also wear them at associated special performance events. The partnership program additionally provides for the elite athletes to train as official Ambassadors for USA Dance and the Swarovski Brand.
